An occasional person might slip into these frames, but they are few and far between - and no, I am not going to share my family albums here anyway.
Instead of manufacturing pseudo character studies, I feel drawn to the structural reality of landscapes, nature, as well as spaces shaped by human civilization or objects that simply just exist.
Our environment is already deeply saturated with the human factor, making actual people mostly an unnecessary distraction from the cold, static geometry of everyday spaces.
To capture these structures, I use whatever is at hand: simple travel lenses like the SEL2860, adapted manual Leica-M or Voigtländer glass, or just my smartphone. I’m definitely a CPL and ND filter type of guy.
